Located near the southernmost boundary of Santa Cruz County, Watsonville is a small city with a population of approximately 50,000. No matter what time of year it is, there is always something fun to experience at this gorgeous stateside park.

The City of Watsonville is a part of the Santa Cruz Metro public transit system, and several routes provide the ability to travel around town or to the city of Santa Cruz in under an hour. Commuting by car is also incredibly easy and convenient thanks to the Pacific Coast Highway running through the western border of Watsonville. However, those who need to travel to/from San Jose, U.S. Route 101 is a much better option.

One of the best features of Watsonville is the variety of great shopping and restaurants available in the city. Overlook Shopping Center is located near the intersection of Main St and Ohlone Pkwy, and features several popular local and regional stores.
