"Capitola is a small city located just a few miles east of Aptos, and is considered one of the area’s most popular tourist towns. California State Route 1 runs along the northern border of Capitola, which provides easy access to Santa Cruz and Highways 17 and 9. For those who prefer to utilize public transportation, Capitola residents can utilize Routes 55 and 69W to travel to Aptos, and Route 69A to commute to Santa Cruz."
